Grateful beyond words for everyone who joined us at yesterdays Mini Wellness Retreat 🤍

The sun came out just in time and we truly got to enjoy the full experience. Gentle movement, sound, sauna, cold plunge, connection, and fireside moments together. Seeing everyone slow down, reset, and soak it all in was so special.

Thank you for bringing your energy, openness, and beautiful presence. Events like this remind me why I love creating these spaces so much ✨

A special thank you to @fromhumbleroots for making the delicious food🫐

It’s National Hiking Day here in Canada!! Here’s some food for thought ⬇️

🌲 The Mental Health Benefits of Hiking in Nature 🌳

Hiking isn’t just about reaching the summit; it’s also a powerful way to nurture our mental health. Spending time in nature can significantly reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.
Here are a few reasons why:

➡️Connection to Nature 🌷: Being surrounded by trees, rivers, and wildlife fosters a sense of peace and belonging, helping to ground us and enhance our mood.

➡️Mindfulness🧘‍♂️: Hiking encourages us to be present. The rhythm of our steps and the sounds of nature draw our attention away from worries, promoting mindfulness and clarity.

➡️Social Interaction🧑‍🤝‍🧑: Whether with friends or fellow hikers, sharing the experience can strengthen bonds and provide emotional support, reducing feelings of isolation.

➡️Digital Detox📴: Hiking allows us to unplug from our screens, giving our minds a break from constant notifications and information overload.

➡️Physical Activity🧠: The act of hiking releases endorphins, which boost our mood and energy levels. It’s a natural way to combat feelings of fatigue and lethargy.

So, next time you hit the trails, remember: it’s not just about the views from the top, but the healing journey along the way. Happy hiking! 🥾✨

Just happened upon the various schools parade for #RevolutionDay in #Mexico. Some snaps of the area we are staying in. #OyoMiramarHitel. You have to stay sharp walking, I almost got stabbed by rebar. We are staying in a very poor part of town and I LOVE it.

#79Grind in Mission. I attempted this in the winter. but the snow was soooo deep and it was sooo dangerous. But I succeeded to the summit today. It was so worth the view of Stave Lake from the top. Very steep at 610 meters and 8 kms up and back.

Beautiful tranquil, serene hike today around #RolleyLake. Even went for a dip in the lake. Only 6 kms but nothing like being in the #Forest and #Hiking.
