When design and hospitality share the same standard.

Muddle Fresh × Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Scottsdale @subzerogroupsw

We had the privilege of joining their design partners inside the Scottsdale showroom for a morning centered around craftsmanship, culinary artistry and the details that define exceptional entertaining.

Alongside a chef-led culinary experience, Muddle Fresh hosted an intimate mixology class exploring technique, ingredients and one detail capable of transforming an entire cocktail: ice.

And after experiencing their showroom, we’ll say this — if entertaining beautifully is part of how you live, the Sub-Zero undercounter ice maker deserves a place in your kitchen.

Beautiful ice. Beautiful cocktails. Exceptional hospitality.

Because the best experiences aren’t defined by excess.

They’re defined by standards.

Hospitality, considered.

After 40 years of inspiring students, encouraging self-expression, and sending generations of children into the world with a little more confidence and a lot more heart, Kierstin has officially put down her paintbrush and picked up her pension. 🎨💜✨

Although she spent the final years of her career as an art teacher, her impact spans four decades in the classroom. Her signature send-off, “Art love 🫶🏾,” became more than a phrase. It was a reminder that learning, creativity, and kindness always go hand in hand.

It was an honor to design and host an Exit Interview-themed retirement celebration in tribute to a remarkable educator whose influence will live on in every student and family volunteer she inspired.

From custom graduation caps and personalized favors to themed photo booth props; signature cocktails and chef-curated small bites; a cake inspired by one of Kierstin’s favorite artists, Romero Britto, adapted in shades of purple, her favorite color; a “Kris-mas Tree” adorned with ceramic ornaments created by her students during her class; and an “exit interview” video featuring heartfelt responses from current and former students, every detail was thoughtfully conceived and curated to reflect the creativity, humor, and love she shared throughout her career.

Congratulations, Kris. Thank you for helping so many of us make our mark.

Art love. 🫶🏾

Talk about an experience!

Jared gifted Oaks an in-home cooking lesson by a professional chef for Christmas and we finally got it on the calendar.

Our menu included:

- Shrimp pot stickers with soy ginger butter sauce and scallions
- Homemade bowtie/farfalle pasta with fresh pesto
- Pan-roasted bistecca with salsa verde
- Pan-roasted zucchini with ricotta, capers, and balsamic.
- Italian pudding butterscotch budino with brown butter cocoa nib crumble and salted vanilla caramel

It was an all day event; every item was made from scratch, except for the wraps for the pot stickers. We all learned so much and had an amazing time! Check out the excitement on Oaks face as she sat down to eat the meal she cooked!
