It’s time for party laps under the gondola because Rendezvous Music Fest is BACK at @jacksonhole 🗣

On March 28, you can score some of the best spring turns around and cap the day off with live music from @balockaye.h, @umphreysmcgee and @flaminglips. What could be better? Not much, that’s for sure.

Skiing in jeans is a time honored tradition that is very important to us. That’s why, every December, we gather together to come in our jeans. 💙 Shout out to YOU if you came this weekend. Even bigger shout out if you came in your jeans.

Things I never thought I’d like:
1. Skiing in jeans 2. Skiing with friends also in jeans 3. Skiing powder in jeans. 4. Skiing with a whole mountain of people…in jeans! I have to say thanks to @jacksonhole for a ridiculous, very festive season opener and for enriching my life with the knowledge I too, can ski in jeans!

Ten years ago, my colleagues (and dear friends) and I stepped off the metro in Paris, it was a Friday night. We had spent the week at our company’s annual sales meeting, testing skis and getting excited for the winter ahead. After the meeting wrapped we decided to spend a few nights exploring the city before heading home. My colleague Jesse and I were eager to get to Paris, but Dave had skied some extra laps and we missed the earlier train. Alas, we were arriving in the dark of night. Our Metro stop was skipped and some French girls kindly translated for us that it was because of terrorist activity. We discussed what that meant but no one else looked too concerned. When we came up to street level there was a large crowd of people, but no one seemed to know what was going on. The direction we needed to go was blocked. We found a quieter side street and attempted to go around the diversion. As we walked down the sidewalk, hauling our large suitcases filled with ski clothes and boots, a man shouted from an apartment above that we should not go that way. We heeded his warning and promptly turned around. As soon as we did, our boss called Jesse, and he was frantic. (cont in comments)
