thanking the Lord for His steadfast faithfulness and provision this summer. i have learned and grown so much more than i could have imagined in the last 10 weeks. the beauty of the local church has become even more clear and evident throughout this time. Abilene truly became a family in such a short amount of time. God so specifically placed the people He knew I needed in my life in the perfect time, His time. lean into your local church, be willing to learn and be poured into. build others up. have an open heart and mind in the ways He is calling you to serve. there is genuinely nothing more fulfilling than answering the call He puts on your life.

thank the Lord for disruptions because you will learn something in the hardest of situations that will ultimately work for His glory. life is so incredibly short, why would i wait to tell people about Jesus. if i truly comprehend the work Jesus did on the cross for me and the way He continues to work in and through me for His kingdom, why would i not want to share that with everyone i can? what is the worst that can happen? they judge me? fear of rejection? isn’t their eternity with Christ more important than my comfort? get comfortable with being uncomfortable or you will never grow. pray for the desires of your heart to be what He wills for your life. pray for boldness and willingness to share. pray for wisdom. with a genuine heart, these prayers will be answered.

thank you Abilene family for showing me what true hospitality is. i will miss each and everyone of y’all very much!!!!
