August 4th is my solar Return! Happy Birthday to meee! Instead of putting together this collage of photos/videos over the past decade I initially planned, thought I'd share some major life lessons I've learned over the past decade
.
.
Some of these things I've never revealed to anyone aside from close family/friends. So if ya didn't know, now ya know!
.
.
I've been feeling called to be more vulnerable on my platforms, so guess I'm answering that. Eternally grateful for the gift of life 🥹🙏🏾
.
.
Cheers to the next chapter🎉🥳

Apparently I've been treating my phone like a storage unit because these projects have been sitting in my camera roll for way too long 😭

So we're fixing that 💪🏾💫

Giving some of the work that only lived in my stories a permanent home, starting with Ballerina Assassin

Swipe through for behind-the-scenes moments, set life, and pieces of the process that brought it all together

Reminder: You’re Not Behind in Life

You’re not behind… you’re just on a different timeline.

Social media will have you thinking you’re late when you’re actually right on time. What’s meant for you is still aligning.

Save this for the days you start doubting your journey

My team and I had the opportunity to build this custom warrior costume for @bbnomula in collaboration with the legendary Diablo universe @blizzard

This was a super quick turnaround build, but seeing the final video with the digital effects made every late night worth it. Thank you so much @thekliq.co for assisting with this masterpiece every step of the way! Huge shoutout to the incredible wardrobe stylist @_sierrarae for recommending me annnd styling the finished look to perfection! Shoutout to @jamesmadethat who trusted us with the project — a dream bringing video game inspired armor to life in the real world. Also shoutout to the entire team that I don't have their s! 🙏🏾🎉

Nothing beats watching something you built from scratch come alive on screen

I stepped into the spirit of Ann Lowe — a master fashion designer whose name should be spoken as loudly as the women she dressed.
.
Ann Lowe was the first African American fashion designer to dress high-society America. She designed gowns for some of the most powerful women of the 20th century, including First Ladies, socialites, and debutantes — most notably Jacqueline Kennedy’s wedding gown in 1953.
.
Despite her brilliance, Ann Lowe was often uncredited, underpaid, and excluded from the fashion institutions she helped define. She built couture gowns by hand, mastered intricate floral appliqué, and ran a luxury fashion house at a time when Black women were never meant to have access — let alone ownership.
.
In this video, I’m shown sewing on a vintage Singer machine, humming “Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke — because her story is the sound of resilience, faith, and quiet revolution.
.
This is more than fashion.
This is Black history.
This is legacy.
This is honoring the women who stitched their genius into history — even when history tried to erase them.
.
At the end, you’ll see the real Ann Lowe — doing what she always did best: creating beauty without permission.
