My new solo project @bluuushband has its first full band gig on June 18th with my old buddy Drew @smugmp3 @ohberlinohberlin and @samxpeco. Will not be playing pro wrestling tunes, all new stuff. Reference point for what my voice sounds like for the folks that don’t know.

REMVSTERED FROM THE GRVVE! Our first EP is available on all streaming platforms now! We’re doing a real deal throwback Thursday today. A little treat before #gnarfest tomorrow!

Our own @movingfastslow made the updated artwork. The new work is meant as a wink and a nod to @peggy.shrill original art.

Our Bandcamp has also been updated with our MVLL RVT Toque! We’ll have those and all kinds of goodies tomorrow in Brantford! We’re on at 10:30pm @two.doors.down.brantford

💥SHOW TOMORROW💥

I’ve been asked to fill in for the unfortunately ill @exib_band at the local @socialbowlldn along with the absolutely incredible @bobcalwell.vanitypro! It’s going to be an unofficial @dbtsrecords night supporting a good cause. I’ll be performing solo tunes, @prowrestlingtheband songs, and my dance tracks. It’ll be interesting to say the least.

Bring your moustache and get a clean shave from the best in town @jsryanco and listen to some great tunes!

Starts at 9:00PM. See ya there London!

NEW (OLD) WAVE

Songs I wrote and recorded in my apartment back in 2019 that I’ve finally decided deserve to see the light of day. These can no longer live on my hard drive.

I’m super proud of how these turned out. I used blankets and t-shirts to cover the drums so I could record quietly(ish), and most of the takes are spur of the moment first tries. These songs are pure creative flow without much editing or any sort of rehearsal done beforehand. I hope you enjoy them.

I made a music video for the track NEW NEW WAVE which you can watch if you swipe right or follow the link in my bio to go to YouTube.

Have a great weekend peeps! Maybe I’ll see ya at a gig sometime!

Ripper Dogs Records are proud to have been a small part of @huntergrammerer’s “Growing Old”. The band though would like it clearly known that the album was SELF-RELEASED by them, and Ripper Dogs only took care of the physical side. If you see our name beside the album on college radio, they now want it known that it should just say Hunter Gatherer. We take no credit for any aspect of this release save for investment of time and funds into their physical cassettes, as well as promotion of said release online and in the Canadian music scene at large.

Though this was not a full release from the label, we at Ripper Dogs Record will continue to support Hunter Gatherer in any way we can. If you know of shows for this band, they are looking. We look forward to whatever they do next. We hope to see them become representatives for the positive changes they wish to see within their scene.

Friendly reminder we still have copies of @huntergrammerer “Growing Old” cassette available through our Bandcamp! Link in bio!
