Velocity 2026 Day Three Recap! 🚀 What a way to close out three incredible days in Los Angeles! Our final day got down to business, bringing culture, commerce, and innovation into focus. Spotify’s Daniel Calderon (@dc1danny) and music journalist Tomás Mier (@tomas_mier) unpacked the explosive growth of Latin music, while Senator Ruben Gallego and Velocity’s Founder, Sol Trujillo’s conversation on Latino economic growth spotlighted the industries driving the U.S. economy. Designers Patricio Campillo (@patricio_campillo) and Raúl López (@raullopez) joined Velocity’s Co-Founder & CMO, Andrea Trujillo (@andreatrujillo) to lead a conversation on the economics of fashion, from craftsmanship and brand collaborations to building enterprises and creative universes that extend across industry segments. 👗 Gio Punzo (@gio.punzo) explored how Streann Media is reinventing streaming through interactive entertainment, turning viewers into active participants. And that’s just scratching the surface of the brand activations, the news segments on @cnn, conversations, insights, innovation, and data shared throughout the day.💡 A special reunion of The Brothers García cast celebrated the lasting power of Latino storytelling in Hollywood. 🎬 We closed out Velocity with the star-studded Made en América Gala, honoring trailblazers whose leadership and contributions have helped shape American history. 🇺🇸 Three days of ideas, connections, and conversations that made the business case for the New Mainstream Economy impossible to ignore. There’s still so much more to share, so stay tuned for even more highlights and recaps! 👀⚡️ #MoveWithVelocity #Velocity2026 #TheNewMainstreamEconomy

One in every 10 @spotify streams is now Latin music. 🌎 That’s not a niche. That’s mainstream. In 2026, Latin music has owned the biggest stages: Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl, Karol G at Coachella, Shakira at the World Cup. It has also generated more than $542 million in U.S. revenue in the first half of the year alone. At Velocity 2026, music journalist @tomas_mier and Spotify’s Daniel “D.C.” Calderon (@dc1danny) unpacked what’s driving it in The Soundtrack of Everything: How Latin Music Is Shaping Culture and Commerce. The big takeaway: artists aren’t trading their roots for reach. From the surge of Música Mexicana to Bad Bunny’s global pull, authenticity is the strategy. For brands, that’s the lesson. As Daniel put it, data can spot the opportunity, but only cultural fluency turns it into real connection. Latin music isn’t crossing over. The world is tuning in. 🔥 This is what it means to move with Velocity! #Velocity2026 #TheNewMainstreamEconomy #MusicCharts #LatinMusic
