I’ve had the wonderful good fortune of helping to bring @maxwellcarmel’s new musical, The Keeper, to life over the last two months. It has been so special to collaborate with this brilliant team of artists and to get to play and imagine the possibilities of this world and this story. Come see what we’ve created tonight at @symphonyspace as part of @theatrenowny’s Sound Bites festival of new musicals!

Swipe for some prepro fun!

We did a great reading yesterday of Coal Country. My friend D.C. Anderson and his partner, Doug Coe organized the event at their beautiful home in Montgomery, NY. Our very talented cast included: D.C. Anderson, Ken Land, Elizabeth Ward Land, Travis Mitchell, Fennel Harris, Lori Wilner, Gene Mueller, Joe Jung(who was a member of the original cast), myself and an occasional sigh by their dog, Cody. It’s so important in these times to organize our own projects and opportunities. It will keep the joy in your life. #coalcountry #readings

Imagine. Getting a call with an offer to play in a project on your bday. Imagine! Now imagine it’s with some of the most talented and altogether looney tunes weirdos you’ve ever been tasked to clown around with - and that was my last week.

I am so grateful.

Reuniting with old friends and bonding with new ones is probably the best gift I could have gotten this year. To the Dust & Shadow crew, cast, band, & producing team, “COME ALONG NOW, BOYYY!”

Let’s do it again soon!

“Social media makes Mason feel like he’s not as cool as his friends, but when a new BlickBlock update causes the students of Rottingham University to have zombie-like symptoms, he might be the only one who can save his classmates from a terrible fate.”

Tired of doom scrolling? Come see a musical… about doom scrolling! This short reading will be presented back-to-back with my other piece, “The Keeper,” so you’ll only need ONE ticket to either show to see both!

“When strange voices come calling in the dark of night, a lonely young lighthouse keeper must find the quiet courage to keep his flame burning. This short musical folktale explores doubt, fear, and those who help us persevere.”

So… I’ve been writing… and I’m so excited to share that Spark Festival NYC will be presenting a staged reading of my show! This one means a lot to me, and I’d love to see you there.

GHOST LIGHT- a film by Pierre Marais

A little while ago we made a film about one of theatre’s oldest traditions. And I’m releasing it online this Halloween. If you love Broadway, if you love scary movies or if you love me, this one’s for you.

Very proud of this film and everything it continues to be. A big shoutout to @matthewtompkins.dp and @chadaustinnyc and @abingdontheatrecompany, who continue to go above and beyond to make all my dreams come true.
