The Bonita Project kicked off their nationwide Bonita Amplifies Experience with a networking mixer at HQ DC House! Their first event outside of NYC, @bonitaproject came to the DMV to host and celebrate Black creators during Black History Month.

The Bonita Project is a Latinx-owned media agency on a mission to change how brands engage with multicultural communities. The networking mixer was sponsored by @urbandecaycosmetics with music by one of HQ’s favorite guest DJs, @cocospinelle.

The Bonitas pulled up to Washington D.C. this week to host our 4th ever Bonita Amplifies Networking Mixer! 🚗 One of our goals this year was to broaden our reach beyond New York City, connecting with fresh communities and voices. In celebration of Black History Month, we had the opportunity to honor the Black creatives of the DMV area in the historic Black-owned @hq.dc.house! ✨🤎

A big thank you to our #BonitaClient and sponsor @urbandecaycosmetics for their ongoing support of our mission. They provided fabulous glam touch-ups by @thegoldnnug for creators throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of @deleontequila and danced the night away to the beats from @cocospinelle. 🪩

We can’t wait to head to our next city, but til then, enjoy a recap of the night!

from tha archives: soul blooms 🌸🌱

i’ve been reflecting on this year recently and one of the times I felt my happiest was march 25th, the day melan & I celebrated spring with our soul blooms event 💕 we spent the day honoring the earth by practicing yoga, meditation and sustainability. vendors came out and so did the tribe :) I met so many beautiful souls that day. i remember feeling so proud and inspired as i walked into the park. waves of joy and excitement washed over me. spring in its essence is a time of rebirth. a time where everything that laid dormant blooms into its beauty once again. to me it feels like the true new year so we welcomed it with extra love. I have so much gratitude for this experience and the ability to be a vessel. big ups to @melansoulflower and @thefinediviner for all their help with bringing this vision to life! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 year 2 of soul blooms was amazing and it will be back next spring :) until then, enjoy this collection of memories 🌞🌸
