It's wellness week. Tomorrow night the Oak Park Raiders will take on the Dakota Lancers at the DUB Wellness Game! An initiative spearheaded by @wpgbluebomberscfl Alumnus Kelly Butler. The event is in support of mental health awareness and is in memory of First Firefighter Preston Heinbigner to help bring awareness to this very important matter. Kelly spent the week leading up to the game visiting both schools and opening up the discussion on the importance of mental health awareness with students and athletes. Kick off is at 7pm at the Charleswood Broncos Field. Come out and show your support for the importance of this conversation with our youth. #OnceABomberAlwaysABombe

The #LRSDGoGlobal team had so much fun revisiting our 7 high schools and learning about what’s to come for this 2026-2027 school year. Each school has their own unique programming of sports, student clubs, academic courses, and student support services.

At #LRSD, there’s something for everyone. 🤗📚📝

Oh Canada… 🇨🇦🤍

Just like that, my chapter as a teacher at @dcilancers has come to a close. 💛

Today was our staff farewell luncheon, and I’m feeling all the emotions. There’s something incredibly bittersweet about saying goodbye to a place that shaped so much of who I am over the last 13 years.

I’m so grateful for the amazing coworkers, mentors, and lifelong friends I met along the way, and for the opportunity to develop and lead the HUB program.

The stack of papers in my hands represents years of student success, perseverance, and accomplishments that I had the privilege of witnessing throughout my career.

As hard as it is to close this chapter, I know the path I’m on is exactly where I’m meant to be, and that I’m still an educator, just in a different capacity.

Thank you for the unforgettable years. I’ll always be proud to call myself a Lancer for life. 💛

Congratulations to the Dakota Collegiate Class of 2026! 🎓

It was a wonderful way to start the day celebrating this year's graduates alongside their families, friends, and teachers.

I was honoured to present a scholarship to Jordyn Dufour in recognition of their hard work and achievements. Congratulations on this well-deserved honour!

It was also extra special to watch my nephew, Luke, cross the stage with his classmates. Congratulations to every Dakota Collegiate graduate. Wishing you all the very best as you take the next step in your journey! 🎉
