DCI World Class 2027 is getting bigger.

The @dcimandarins are officially returning to the DCI Tour, while @golddrumcorps and The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps have both been approved to move into DCI World Class beginning in 2027. Follow the latest from Drum Corps International at @dciphotos.

And in Pennsylvania, Mechanicsburg’s marching arts community gave us one of the best reminders of what this activity can be about. At the Oct. 3 USBands home show, 11 participating schools came together on the field for a mass performance of “God Bless America.”

Next up on our audition tour is a corps that is returning to the field after a one-year hiatus, the Mandarins, whose audition season starts in just over a month, on November 21st! This season, they'll be hosting five satellite camps across four different states, plus their full weekend audition camps, with one in Southern California and one in Northern California, and video auditions available for each section for anyone who can't attend an in-person audition. Their audition materials are available right now on their website, and there's no better time to start preparing than today! For more information about their or any other corps' audition materials, check out the 2027 Audition Information spreadsheet in our bio

Mandarins 23’ paradiddle exercise. I need to work on keeping my taps consistent and maintaining control on my left hand and making sure my diddles stay consistent as well. Pretty fun exercise though. #dci #fypシ #drum #warmup #practice
