Episode 1 - The video for Love is (Just) a Cruel Game took a year to pull off, with a nod to Hitchcock’s Vertigo. It follows Vernon, a recurring character from Pack Co., as he spirals up a stairwell in one of Detroit’s iconic Art Deco buildings, losing his grip on reality step by step.

It took a relentless stream of calls and emails to get permission to film there, and moving a full crew up those stairs was a massive undertaking and made for a mentally and physically exhausting shoot. We added some driving shots from the Monza Spyder six months later, capturing Vernon’s desperate escape from his own misfortune.
