A wonderful weekend in the mountains with friends of nearly 20 years. A little Friendsgiving, cooking together, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and simply catching up on life. We all have our own challenges and successes, but a few days together is such a special recharge. So thankful for these friendships/trips and already looking forward to the next one!

June was a turning point. 🪐

Not because everything suddenly became easy…but because I started feeling like myself again.

This month brought old friends, new friends, plenty of laughs, meaningful conversations and a reminder that community has a way of finding you when you need it most.

I’m grateful for every person who made June what it was. Looking forward to what’s next. ❤️⚓️🚀🫶🎶 (also pictured: @shenandoahband @martyraybonmusic @dustyslay @the_pinecone_project @5oclocksomewherefest @aaronthespeaker & fashion by: @argo.us)

Feb conclusion? We are a month ahead!! 🚀 We’ve spent this week focused on unblocking complex work, chasing ambitious goals and getting ahead of our plans for 26Q1. The deep social connection and work time together is what makes this so meaningful.

The location was magical.
The team was/is incredible.
I’m supercharged for March & beyond 🚀✨

P.s I can’t wait for the next retreat so I can finally ditch the sling and run and mtb with fellow sporty Doisters!

Do you feel guilty for disconnecting during your PTO? 🏖️

Do you ever get that nagging feeling that you need to "just check in" while you’re on leave?

At Doist, we explicitly discourage it. Checkout the comms @dcwarrington shared, in the video!

It’s not just a suggestion; it’s a standard.

We believe this kind of rest should be standard worldwide. That’s why we’ve just open-sourced our entire PTO guideline and added it to our public handbook, linked below in the comments 🎁

Would your company survive if everyone actually disconnected on PTO?

June 21st we celebrated 11 years of marriage (17 together!) and it was our first time returning to @thebannerelkwinery since our wedding day!!! It was soooo special to be back in the mountains of NC where we not only got married, but went to college, became best friends and eventually fell in love ❤️❤️❤️ I cannot even begin to imagine life with anyone else. We’ve had so many amazing adventures together already and I feel like we’re only just beginning. I love you so much @dcwarrington !!!! 🥰👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻 #mrcakes #ladycakes #appstate #anniversary #bestfriends #ihaveanidea
