The news business has gifted me some friendships that have stood the test of time and distance. Deana and John were kind enough to host me at their home in Missouri for a couple of days. Deana and I worked together at WTOK in Meridian and went a decade without seeing each other, but have been able to reconnect the last couple of years. She’ll always be my TV mom!

Happy Birthday to someone I know so many of you know and love! My TV mom, Deana Day (my right). Also pictured: two of her three real-life children, Savannah and Will. This picture was taken 7 years ago in Meridian. Happy Birthday Deana! 🥳
