Little update!

I am so greatful to my sport and the opportunities it brings. This week we were invited by one of the primary schools in bridlington UK to talk about beach volleyball, our experience and Canada itself. Not only did we get to share our stories, but the lovely teachers of this school made us feel so welcomed with a taste of home by making us poutine!! THEN on the Friday, all of the grade 6 class came down to the beach to support us, and let me tell you they were the LOUDEST ones there. Some of them even decided to come up the next two days and support us. A week ago these kids had no idea what beach volleyball was even about, now many of them have signed up to participate in volleyball camps at the end of August. Even though Ofure and I came 5th (while starting in the qualifier) this experience has been one of the best so far. Being able to inspire others by simply enjoying what I love has been one of the greatest gifts so far. So much love for bridlington ❤️

👏 | Strong defence from Canada’s @de.greeff enables his partner @tgannett3 to sneak the point against Poland’s @czachorinio and @krzemien_bv at the very end of it. Taken from Sunday’s Beach Pro Tour Futures Bridlington semi-final.

🏐 | SPECIAL VISIT

🇨🇦 | Flamborough Primary School, just a few miles down the road from the Beach Pro Tour Futures Bridlington event, has welcomed four players from the Canadian team for fun, games… and education!

👏 | Fantastic to see such great community activity playing such a big part around a first-ever World Tour event for the UK - and we love the dance too!
