‼️updated flyer‼️

🩷🖤hope to see yall at my first solo exhibition next month🖤🩷

Thanks 1000x @aztlanlibre for this opportunity. I’m actually really excited to see this all come together and see my work in this gallery space. I’ll also be doing some installations with my friends and I’m excited for yall to see.

Plus we’ll have music by DJ Pocho, Gonzo ( @hungtable ) and @tierram0jada 💖

And then @isas_tamales with birria nachos. @de.mictlan.cafe with coffee & our jamaica refresher.

Also my favorite organization the @aztlan.youthbrigade with face painting and other goods, fundraising for the mochilaton happening later that month (back to school distribution for the communities of barrio Logan & shelltown).

Please come out if you can!

Friendly reminder here of our 3rd GROUP art show! Sunny Creations 1904 presents “Viva La Mujer” - a group art show about womyn empowerment!💪🏽

See what womyn want & support our community of talented artists who are representing womyn everywhere! Our vendors @_mariposa_designs @authorstephc @senoritasockmama will also have pieces in the art show!🫀

@dulceemmorena has all the desserts to go with your coffee & @chucheriasmexica is bringing you all the delicious snacks once again while you browse through the collection of items to swap!

Which reminds me, don’t forget to go through your closet to gather some things you no longer want, for something you need this summer!✨

Thanks again to all those participating in this unique group art show we have planned for you! All art work is available for immediate rehoming at the end of the night! Thanks for supporting the arts!🤗

Thank you to @decorazoncoffee for allowing us to bring in a womyn owned coffee business to the community to takeover for ONE DAY ONLY & provide a unique menu for our show!! So excited to have @de.mictlan.cafe run the shop! 🌸

Lastly, we’ll have womyn DJ’s @djlace_me & @mellyy_melss bringing the classics by womyn in music on both vinyl & digital! Join us again on MAY 24th from 10am-6pm ❤️‍🔥

The time is here! The time is NOW! Womyn everywhere are tired of men calling the shots, we’re tired of being under-appreciated & taken advantage of for simply being a womyn! As a co-owned woman business, we are excited for MSRED’s 1st Solo Art Show!🦋

¡VIVA LA MUJER! is an event about celebrating the womyn who make the world go round! We are a resourceful bunch who think outside the box & it’s time we are recognized.💃🏽💃🏻💃🏿💃🏼

At this event, we will have an all womyn art show with the theme being Matriarchy (a women run society)/what “woman” means to you.💐

We will also have a unique market with womyn owned businesses; each vendor specializing in something different from each other such as art, poetry, jewelry, food, etc. Be sure to also check out their art pieces in the show! @_mariposa_designs @stephcadiero @dulceemmorena @senoritasockmama @chucheriasmexica & BRINA (solo debut)!🧁

Lastly, there will be a clothing swap where you bring something, to take something. It can be clothes, workout gear, bags, or gifts that don’t quite fit your style anymore and you can’t regift it.👖

Vibe out with some tunes provided by womyn vinyl djs & grab a coffee from special guest baristas @de.mictlan.cafe who will be taking over @decorazoncoffee for the day!🫶🏽

32 artists, 7 unique vendors, snacks, music & a new wardrobe?! What more could a womyn ask for!😉
