Yesterday, we didn’t just march β€” we stood together. πŸ•ŠοΈβœŠπŸ½

We walked in remembrance of Shani Cooke, in solidarity with her grieving family, and in defence of every child whose life has been cut short by violence.

This march was a message: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Three years ago, Jhamelia Cole was taken from the same community. Yesterday, we returned to those streets not with anger or vengeance, but with peace, unity, courage and a demand for action.

To Shani’s family: your daughter will not be forgotten.
To our young people: your lives matter.
To our communities: we must continue to speak, stand and act.

JYRO remains committed to advocating for a Jamaica where our children can grow, dream and live without fear.

Justice. Accountability. Peace. Change. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ‡―πŸ‡²
