Words can’t describe how much this experience changed my life. After a very long audition period where I felt down, hopeless and like my skills weren’t enough this drum corps gave me a chance and showed me I was capable. What was already inside of me was something I needed to channel when thrown into this crazy environment. I came back, more disciplined, better hands, better attitude and overall it changed everything for me.

During the times when I was down, my entire senior year it felt like I was suffocating in my own thoughts and that I had no one to talk to, I also felt that the entire program had turned this cold shoulder to me. When I came here in this drum corps it was a weird feeling, it felt like I belonged and that there was family.. and that it was like home. Frankly, I miss every second of it. I will miss going new London almost every weekend in the beginning of summer, I will miss subs block with Jeremy, I will miss the funny shenanigans and sayings of max palmer.

To all the other members I marched with, go do great things. Shine a light and show them where you came from in your respective areas and states.

I thank God for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with these people.

I can’t believe it’s over. Revelation 2026, this is the best group of people I’ve ever been a part of. I can’t thank the staff and the members enough for making this such an awesome season and helping me grow not as just a percussionist, but also as a person. Same time next year?
