HELLO UMMIES THIS JUST IN FROM MISS MOTHER JENNIFER - she came to us last night in a dream (fig and i share dreams) and she told us that anyone who comes to our west coast tour she will be highly favoring in the New Jennifer Year (same as the calendar New Year but she’s in charge of it) and anyone who doesn’t will have an anvil dropped on their head ://// so if you DON’T want an ANVIL dropped on your HEAD you should probably get tickets to the show. All love and glory to everyone in the world #anvil

PS these awesome photos are by @audgnyc from our show at @brooklynsteel w @thelindalindas … if you attended the show you are theoretically safe from anvils but i would just stay vigilant any way just in case

2023.11.29 - photos on Nikon D3100 with edits

The second opener at @rlyblonde's single release show was a band that, at the time I was still getting to know, but now has become one of my favorite of all time (in addition to being some of my favorite people); Um, Jennifer?
For only their second show I got to see, the first being the month before, I was still blown away, and they didn't even have half their current lineup yet. For a small set, with three artist that only a few months prior I hadn't heard of, I had no way of knowing now they'd be some of the acts I most look forward to seeing and listening to.
And, in perfect coincidence, not only does Rlyblonde have an upcomong set (Nublu on 10/6), and Debbie Dopamie has one as well (Purgatory on 10.16), @umjennifertheband is opening for The Linda Linda's at Brooklyn Steel on October 8th - so rarely do I get to post about a show right before the artist is about to be playing live, so this is a great chance to check these fantastic acts out.
