During Easter Weekend of 2026, I drove from Myrtle Beach to Lugoff to help out @kerrhiah on her senior SCAD short film titled @forgive_the_film. It was awesome to finally be on set with brother from another mother @maxfield_alexfield and my art hoe sisters @allyxcine & @deadly_bubblez. Thank you to Ally and @zach.quinn.m for capturing that weekend. Our cast and crew were such a talented bunch.

🎓 And just like that, my college journey has come to an end.

College wasn’t always easy. There were times when I struggled, felt overwhelmed, and even wanted to quit. Looking back, one of the biggest reasons I made it through is because of the amazing people I met along the way. The friends I made became so much more than friends, they became family.

A special shoutout to Armine Goodman and Arissa Nelson. Armine and I met during my freshman year when I was having a hard time adjusting to college life. One day, she invited me to dinner and introduced me to Arissa, who would later become my roommate of three years. What started as a simple dinner turned into one of the most important friendships of my life. Through the highs and lows, we’ve always been there for each other, and I am so grateful for both of you. I can’t wait to see where life takes us next and how our friendship continues to grow.

I also want to congratulate my brother, Gregory Coffey, on graduating high school! I’m so proud of you and excited to see what your future holds. Even though I couldn’t be there in person, I was cheering you on through the livestream every step of the way. I love you, bud!

Finally, thank you to my family for always supporting me and celebrating this milestone with me. Having my aunt and uncle travel all the way to Georgia meant so much. And thank you to Britton for making the trip as well, you truly are like a brother to me.

To everyone who supported me throughout this journey, thank you. While I’m proud of earning my degree, it’s the friendships, memories, and people I’ve met along the way that I’ll cherish forever.

Here’s to new beginnings. ❤️🎓

Year 2 at SCAD!

This year is a little harder to part ways with, having a bunch of my now life-long friends graduate; but I am eternally grateful that I have found people here that make me cry the way that I did. I have done so many things this year I didn't know I'd ever be able to do, my first musical, my first song on streaming services, accompanying a whole choir on guitar, being the section leader for my voice part in said choir, orchestrating and directing a string quartet, having so so so many studio sessions and running a songwriting club! I can't help but reflect on the person I was before I set foot in Savannah; she is unrecognizable... in the best way ever. I found out how much I love to love! How open and extroverted I can be when I feel I'm where I belong. How much I can do with just a little time to practice. How much dedication I have for the craft of music itself. How to pick the right people to let in my chaotic world. How much I can push myself and put on my plate. Why I'm even working as hard as I am in the first place. How much I love collaboration when it comes to my songs. How to pave my own path when there aren't any clear ones for my goals. How to prepare for and push through rejection. How to shift gears without losing the initial vision. How to give my space to recharge! When to stop and be present in the moment. When it's ok to not be liked, if it means being yourself! How important kindness is through everything you do. How you do anything is how you do everything... I love everyone I met this year that gave me a space where I felt like I could be myself. I love everyone that felt comfortable enough around me to be themselves! I really really cannot wait for next year, this journey at this college is seemingly becoming more and more than I'd ever hoped it to be!

“Forgive” 🎥🖤🔪

My second senior capstone film as a DP this spring quarter at SCAD. This project was emotionally heavy, visually challenging, and one of the most intense sets I’ve worked on so far.

“Forgive” is a psychological family drama centered around grief, trauma, silence, and generational cycles of abuse. Getting the opportunity to help visually shape such a raw and difficult story alongside an incredibly dedicated cast and crew was something I’ll always be grateful for.

These photos are from our time filming in South Carolina with the crew. Long days, little sleep, unpredictable weather, and a lot of teamwork, but such a rewarding experience in the end. Really proud of what we created together and excited for people to eventually see the final film.

“Happy Days Are Here Again” 🎞️🩰

My first senior capstone film as a DP this year during my winter and spring quarters at SCAD. This project was incredibly special to work on because of how emotional and personal the story is.

“Happy Days Are Here Again” follows Violet, a young dancer trying to balance her future and passion for dance while coping with her mother’s returning cancer diagnosis. Through grief, family conflict, and pressure from her upcoming showcase, the film explores love, loss, and the difficult process of letting go.

Getting to help visually tell this story alongside such an amazing cast and crew was such a rewarding experience, and I’m really proud of everything we created together. These are some behind the scenes moments from set, with more photos of me working as DP coming soon. 🎥✨
