🎤🎶 Yard Sessions brings four local acts to Chew's Yard for a night of live music

Live music is taking over Chew’s Yard in Preston this October as Yard Sessions brings together four local acts for a full evening of live music in the heart of the city.

Among the acts appearing are Imogen Evans Band, whose emotive alt-rock combines haunting vocals and intense choruses, exploring the space between despair and rejuvenation.

The band have already made a significant impact on the local live music scene, performing as BBC Introducing artists at the 25,000-capacity Blackpool Illuminations Switch On, where they shared the bill with Five and The Feeling.

Imogen Evans also headlined Bootleg Social for her single launch gig, selling more than 150 tickets. Her music has received frequent radio play across BBC Introducing, while her growing online audience includes more than 30,000 followers on TikTok.

Also appearing are Parrilla, a teenage five-piece metal/thrash outfit from Blackpool. Known for their high-energy performances, the band are becoming a rapidly growing presence within the Northwest music scene, bringing their energetic live show to Chew’s Yard for the evening.

The bill is completed by Dead Sheep and Preston band Dota, adding two further local acts to an evening dedicated to showcasing emerging and established talent from the region.

Yard Sessions offers audiences the chance to support the local music scene and discover their next favourite band.
