My soft reset 🌿
✧･ﾟ: ✧･ﾟ:✧･ﾟ: ✧･ﾟ:✧･ﾟ: ✧･ﾟ
For the past three plus years life has been full on. Nursing school, working fulltime for much of that time, being a mum, and trying to keep up with everything that needed my attention 🫠.

Somewhere along the way, fitness became the thing that kept getting pushed to the bottom of my priority list.

Lately, I've really been feeling the effects of that. My energy has been low, my nutrition hasn't been where I'd like it to be, and I've had days where I just haven't felt like myself. More than anything, I've realised how much I've been craving movement. Trying to hit the gym when I can but never consistently.

Not because I need to change everything about my body (although love having muscle and seeing mini gains), but because I want to feeel stronger, healthier, more energised and more connected to myself again.

As I get closer to the end of nursing school 🤞 hopefully I pass and enter a new chapter of life, I want to start making space for myself, too.

So this is me starting again. No extreme routines, no pressure to be perfect, and no waiting for the right time.

Just building healthy habits, moving my body, nourishing myself better and learning to show up for myself a little more each day.

If you're also finding your way back to yourself after a busy season of life, you're in the right place, let's do this🤍

Here's to getting stronger, slowly.

I do love a twizzle 💅🏻
The trackies on an untaped bar really elevate the fluidity 😉

A few favourites from the current rotation.

Headwear, heavyweight tees, cargos, hoodies and statement pieces from across the Flash Supply Co range.

Built around original artwork. Made to be worn, not hung on a wall.

Balcony fit check. Didn’t get far from the house, but the gear deserved an outing 😂

@noshortcutz.apparel , @flash_supply_co and @deadtide.au in the rotation. Three independent brands that look pretty bloody good together.

Which piece are you backing? 👇

One of my athletes told me to “re-write the story” going into my first weightlifting competition in two years.

There was a lot to overcome here, and the mental and physical fears were strong, but today I proved I was stronger.

Lifetime PBs, first ever 6/6 and honestly the most enjoyable weightlifting competition in ten years.

Massive thank you to @ackes and @kurtelstone for helping me treat today like it wasn’t a big deal.

Thank you to my amazing gym crew for showing up for me and understanding how much today meant but without making it a whole thing - I appreciate this so much.

@samhcody for always making me believe I’m capable of more.

@osteo.sarah for not telling me doing two competitions in a month was insane even though it definitely was.

@deadtide.au for bringing the sick fit and cheering for me like I was their child 🖤

If this was a comeback, it was a pretty epic one.
