Last night we celebrated Torey Brown’s 30th birthday with a beautifully macabre “Death to Her 20s” funeral in Navasota, Texas. Torey is one of the brightest, most beautiful, and compassionate women I’ve ever had the pleasure of calling a sister. ❤️ The evening was a gothic dream—complete with a surrealist feast, burlesque performances, magic, dancing, and endless taxidermy—all set inside the breathtaking @ravenwolfmanor. Every detail felt as though it had stepped from the poetic pages of Edgar Allan Poe; a manor curated from the lore of horror and gothic literature. It was one of those rare nights where reality and fantasy blurred together, and I’ll be reminiscing about it for a long time. Happy birthday, Torey. Here’s to haunting your 30s in full glam. 🖤🥀👻 I shot these on my low-resolution Camp Snap, which felt fitting for the atmosphere of the night. The soft, imperfect quality makes the images feel like an ethereal glimpse into the past. Flip to the last slide to see the cake—a sculpted replica of Torey’s head on a platter. A perfectly surreal ending to the evening. 🔪
