“I want [Dimebag’s] legacy to continue for 100 years, and I want Dime Guitarz to be known for pointy guitars.”

Heard from @dimeguitarz leaders Rita Haney ( @dimebagzhag ) and Dean Zelinsky ( @deanzelinsky ) on preserving the legacy of late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell through the long-awaited relaunch of his Culprit design, plus their battle to regain the trademark to the Stealth and Razorback models, and the possibility of a bunch of unseen body shapes making it out in the wild through Dime Guitarz.

Rita and Dean discuss: Tone; the Culprit’s bottle opener-shaped origins; balancing newer innovations like the Z-Glide neck and Dimebooster with tried-and-true elements; unseen designs; watching fans shred the new Culprit; and more!

Here we go!

Since I’m obviously light-years away from the skills of my buddy @attilavorosofficial or @olaenglund , I focused on the simplest thing: —- Caveman riffs!! —-

A huge thank you to @dimebagzhag , @gradychampion , @deanzelinsky and @dimeguitarz .

The Boss himself @deanzelinsky and I paid a visit to Dean Guitars, we actually wanted to cause some riot, but decided against it in the end.

Back in Berlin for a minute, hitting my home studio to record a quick demo with the Dime Slime from @dimeguitarz .

All I can say so far, this evil bottle opener from hell plays insanely good, the pickups have a seriously hot output, and it’s built for speed riffing but also for slam chucks ….not just Pantera.

More soon.

This pre-owned Dean Zelinsky is definitely a guitar that should be on your list. The neck is made from a beautiful maple, rosewood fret board, and jumbo frets. Your hand easily slides down the neck with its low-friction Z-Glide engraving. The thin mahogany body means extra-light weight. This guitar has a huge electric sound and also provides acoustic tones via the Graphtech Ghost piezo bridge pickup.
