Danielle Gindele MA, LPC ATR-BC gives her child self these words to her younger self,

“Embrace who you are with pride and don’t worry about what others think. The right friends will come along—people who truly appreciate you for being uniquely you. Keep being yourself, and you’ll find a community that truly matches your freak.”

On August 26th we celebrated the dedication of the Uvalde Love Project Mural! ✨ Started by the visionary Wanda Montemayor and her team of skilled art therapists, this vibrant mosaic masterpiece, composed of over 5,000 intricately placed tiles, stands as a testament to the power of community and creativity. With contributions from more than 2,000 individuals spanning all ages through groups like Taco and Tiles, the dedicated art teachers of Uvalde, and numerous community members, this year-long labor of love embodies the spirit of togetherness and healing. Let's cherish this symbol of collective artistry, resilience, and the transformative ability of art that binds us together. 🦋 #UvaldeLoveProject #mosaicmural #HealingThroughArt

Our mosaic construction weekend has ended! We laughed, we cried, we bonded, and we made a really beautiful thing together.

The mosaic will be grouted next weekend, then a plaque will be made, and a dedication in August!

Big love to everyone involved ❤️
