Seeing Death Becomes Her at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis, MO! 🔮✨

Death Becomes Her is one of my favorite movies of all time, and watching it every year has become my Halloween tradition. So when I found out the musical would be playing at the @foxtheatrestl just a few days before the 31st, I knew I had to go to make this year even more special.

This musical was incredible and one of the best shows I’ve seen so far. It was full of dark humor, amazing special effects, phenomenal set designs, glamorous costumes, unbelievable vocals, and a talented cast that made it unforgettable.

My favorite part was the famous staircase scene, which seemed almost impossible to pull off onstage. The show made it even more dramatic and hilarious while keeping the film's essence. The audience was literally crying with laughter throughout the show.

Even though the highlight is how funny and entertaining it is, you’ll also leave thinking about deeper topics, like vanity. It makes you think about how much time we spend worrying about our looks or what people think of us instead of living our lives to the fullest.

I would love to see this musical again, and I’ll definitely be back at the Fabulous Fox soon to add more playbills to my growing collection, alongside The Wiz and MJ The Musical.

Thank you, @foxtheatrestl, for such a fun evening! Kadiskreations Magazine would love to cover more events and performances at the Fox for our readers who love to support the arts in St. Louis!

Not in St. Louis? Head to @deathbecomesher to see when the show is coming to your city! ✨

Set the kettle temperature for the wrong tea and didn't want to wait for it to cool down, so I reassessed the stash and decided to brew up some Huckleberry Happiness from @plumdeluxe

It's a black tea, with elderberries, aronia berries, black currants, blueberries, hibiscus, cornflowers, and huckleberry essence. It's on the tart side, which isn't what I was in the mood for, but could definitely be a vibe. The listing says it's great cold brewed and I wish I had remembered that earlier, but unfortunately it's too late for that now. If you've cold brewed this one before, do report back.

Overall, it's not something I would reach for hot, but I'm not mad at it either.

I decided to dig out my @deathbecomesher mug for this, since it felt seasonally and thematically appropriate, and also this song is just a Mood.
