Mother's Day weekend getaway to the beach with the fam was the best gift ever! So thankful to have all my babies back together. Much needed quality time to slow down, reflect, and celebrate life. Hard to believe King's first semster of college and spring football is in the books. Up next High School graduation! #MothersDay2026

The entire crew was greeted with a Welcome to the "FamILLy" party in Champaign. 🍾 Following an early morning flight from Sanford to Bloomington, Illinois, a scenic drive through corn fields in full harvest mode led to the campus. The first stop was Eggs Republic, where an incredible brunch was served, providing an opportunity to reflect on King's journey to becoming a Fighting Illini Football player in the B1G.

Throughout this journey, God's unwavering faithfulness has been apparent. Experiencing everything through the girls' and grandparents' eyes added depth to the trip, highlighting the significance of being present. Photographs cannot fully capture the essence of this experience. It is the people that have been instrumental in making this place feel like King's home away from home. While the recruiting process can be overwhelming, having clear core values enables informed and decisive decision-making.

The town's charm, the campus's unique blend of history and modernity, and the exceptional education and football program all contribute to making this an attractive location. A tour led by King's position coaches, Harris and Panos, included a surprise visit with Coach B, sharing life stories, laughter, and happy tears, while Bright felt at ease, taking off her shoes and enjoying the blue and orange M&M stash. It was the best start to an unforgettable weekend to watch the Hail to the Orange game vs. Ohio State.

Wishing my amazing Mama a very blessed Mother's Day! Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for blessing me with such a special mother, confidant, cheerleader, friend, and Ma Bear to King, Care, & Bright. You embraced Jeffrey Shaw as your own over 22 years ago and have a beautiful relationship with the man I love. At this season in my life I have a much deeper respect and appreciation for all you sacrificed for my brothers and I growing up. You were always present, steady, kind, thoughtful, supportive, and fun. You were our safe space in a crazy world and always made sure we knew that we were loved and had our backs. You make every holiday big or small meaningful and the mundane moments extra special. You radiate God's goodness and loving kindness. I want to be just like you when I grow up. 😉 I love you Mom, forever and always. #HappyMothersDay #BestMomEver 🌷🌷🌷

Countdown to Christmas: "Celebrating the Arts" 🎄 One of our favorite traditions with the girls is to see a new Nutcracker performance. This year we went to the Mount Dora School Of Ballet. The costumes were beautiful and the dancers did a phenomenal job! Bright loved her first time at the ballet and got her 1st Nutcracker to add to the collection. The guys met us for dinner after @1921mountdora. We had an amazing meal and made more memories looking at the lights and also took in the @orlandophilorch in Apopka this weekend. #Christmas2023 #Family #Nutcracker #MakingMemories #1921
