Y’all what a whirlwind week with the Writers Lab International in NYC continuing to develop the feature script for “Superman Doesn’t Steal”. ✍🏽 I had the immense pleasure of meeting and communing with a group of remarkable women writers who had fantastic TV & Film scripts. It was such a pleasure to read their work and get to know each and every one of them. Huge thank you to the Founders and Facilitators (Elizabeth, Nitza & Liza) who worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed and who matched us with some absolutely incredible writing mentors. (Thank you @meg_lefauve & Amenya M.) What an honor to have such esteemed and successful writing/producing mentors read our work and give such valuable feedback as we continue to develop our projects. All of our sessions, panels and workshops were well curated and useful to our process. But one of the things I enjoyed most was the community and connection with these wonderful women writers. Looking forward to going back in and making some tweaks. Writing is Re-writing. 😉👩🏽‍💻🫠 Sending good writing vibes to all my cohorts. @wizardbabe @the_writers_lab @mk.mcg @sarapratterhallowell @imveronicareyes @cylinbusby @thelisacole @zsofiadarida @martyjohny @jamie25bh #ShaRhondaByrd @deb_mccurdy_ #thewriterslab #womenwriters #nyc #thewriterslabnyc #writer #supermandoesntsteal @supermandoesntstealfilm #featurescript #writinglab #grateful Thanks
