@molfixnigeria I really do not want to be pregnant. I wept when I found out, was mad at myself for letting it happen. Everyone wants you to be happy about it, and if you’re not, there’s very little sympathy. It is embarrassing. I thought about abortion and hoped for a miscarriage. I was terrified. People don’t really talk about an unhappy pregnancy. There are social expectations. You playfully complain about the huge belly and swollen feet, but keep the deeper, scarier stuff to yourself. Luckily, towards the end of pregnancy, I started to accept it. My first baby, Saviour, was born on a Thursday afternoon after 18 hours of contractions, one panic attack and two hours of pushing. Moments after he was born, but before I could hold her, I remember hearing what I thought was water splashing on the floor and finding out quickly that the sound was actually blood pouring out of my body. The nurses jumped on me, pumping me with medicine to contract my uterus, while my obstetrician crammed her hand inside me, elbow-deep, to try to detach my placenta and stop the bleeding. The team's quick thinking saved my life. But when I regained consciousness a few hours later, I was deeply shaken, woozy from the drugs and on the verge of needing a blood transfusion. After the nurse had palpated my uterus, I was so sore I could barely sit up. When the nurse placed my baby in my arms, Saviour immediately started to cry, and reflexively I tried to hand him back. I didn't bond my baby right away. We have a culture that's extremely prescriptive about how those first few weeks with your baby should be. But motherhood isn’t one size fits all.

COLORS 😍😍😍
During Fashion Illustration class, we played with colors.
I know someone is wondering what colors have to do with fashion designing.🤷‍♀🤷‍♀
.
.
But we're teaching our students to embrace their inner creativity and create original designs.
.
Sadly, In the fashion world, most designers are tilting towards the 'copycat' trend, but 😞😞 someone needs to get creative and original.
.
Why stick to sewing alone when you can try your hand at designing?
And not just designing but adding colors to bring your designs to life.😍😍😍
To make them works of art the clients can relate with.

We're starting with the basics.
Color wheel and very soon we'll be Turning out world class original designs.💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
.
.
Course content includes: 🚩PATTERN DRAFTING
.
🚩GARMENT CONSTRUCTION
.
🚩FASHION ILLUSTRATION from scratch.
.
