Some flavors are simply worth surrendering to

Today, we're sharing another sneak peek at one of the delicious cuisines that will be served at the @fairfieldinternationalfoodfest on September 5th. Next up, a taste of Egypt!

My beautiful foolish mortals, watch along as Yassar lovingly prepares us a flavorful, fresh visual feast from @kabab_hummus_house, a Halal Mediterranean and Egyptian establishment.

There is something downright hypnotic about watching someone take fresh ingredients and turn them into something you absolutely need to devour.

Everything was bursting with flavor and freshness. The pickled vegetables added the perfect tang, the sauces were made in-house, and that hand-minced meat? I normally don't like lamb, but I couldn't resist the flavoring of the meat he prepared. I ate every last bite. 🧛🏻‍♀️

The platter came together with Mediterranean-style rice and a vibrant salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, herbs, and citrus, creating the perfect balance of savory, fresh, bright, and tangy.

The 2nd Annual Fairfield International Food Fest takes over 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield, at Fairfield Theatre Company, on September 5th from 4 to 8 PM, bringing 13 vendors, international flavors, entertainment, performances, and plenty more to discover. Get your tickets at the link in the @fairfieldinternationalfoodfest bio and come hungry. You have a whole world of flavor waiting for you 🌍🍴
