Sequoia N. P. is breathtaking! The Sherman Tree is the largest tree in total size in the world. These trees have a majesty that provokes the worship of our God. The Lincoln Tree, with its many experiences in fire, was our favorite. We spent over two hours on the Congress Trail with trees and deer wrestling. On the way home, we saw the Sentinel tree, four guardsmen, and other beauties.

Thursday in Kings Canyon: the Grant tree has the world's largest trunk base in the world, and the road into the canyon was super tight and curvy but the beauty of the valley was amazing. Been in Cali a long time; it's about time I came here.

Yosemite National Park on a stunning day! From Olmstead Point to Glacier Point and everything in between, majesty shined. All was dry, however, at Yosemite Falls (too bad). Our national parks are the best! Two to go.

Two nights in this cute little mountain cabin. It snowed on the way up til morning when it was 19 degrees! (been a while since we were cold) The rest of the pictures are a quarter mile walk away on twin lakes. If you're in Mammoth Lakes or need some down time, consider Tamarack Lodge. (I should get paid for that one)

We had never been to Death Valley - it's so hot. Not yesterday, as the high was only 82. Badwater Basin, Artist's Palette, and Zabriski Point were all uniquely beautiful. Enjoy!

Bryce Canyon is phenomenal, but it is much more of a hike then my 30 years ago memory possessed. This amazing woman of my life remained steadfast while looking amazing for the 3 hours. We did it! Enjoy the pics friends.

Sooo many amazing pictures on my phone from yesterday! Monument valley off road loop was totally worth the bumpy road! We saw petroglyphs early in the day and Horseshoe Bend (just missing sunset). The highlight was Lower Antelope Canyon (more pictures). Crazy colors and textures. One picture shows our group going down the ladder system and the last one shows what a boring landscape it is from the top. Blew our minds!

Beautiful day in Arches NP! Chat GPT helped us maximize time and steps to see all the best places. Several arches were new to us, having missed them 30 years ago with Thomas Bros maps. lol

Amazing day at Red Rocks to see @forkingandcountry ! All the best things: time with family, the beauty of God's creation, and my favorite concert band. It all just worked!

Happiest of Birthdays to the best mom I could have ever asked for!!! No matter what happened in my life you never stopped praying for me and loving me. I am who I am today because of those 2 things!! Being a mom helped me really understand how much you sacrificed as a young 25 year old with 3 of us. We’re blessed to have your example!

Thanks for creating and setting up a beautiful tea party for our @centerpointwomen Bible study get together for your birthday! Everything was spectacular and yummy!! Love you so much! Have fun with @bforeveryoung3 this weekend!

Last stop - Barcelona. Beautiful city of such diversity. Cathedral la Segrada Familia is the most architectural church we've seen. So many hidden inferences in design and structure. We went to Parc Gruell after, saw Casa Batllo, and enjoyed a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter in the morning. All in one tour, but paced very well. Heading home today!

Lisbon stop: full stop. We got to the hotel and Deb's ankle was very sore. On top of that, her 3 day old cough worsened. The pharmacist and I agreed that it sounds like bronchitis (I have had it several times). I knew we couldn't go see anything on foot, so I metroed back to the airport to rent a car. We got in a brief lunch, but the meds make for coughing, nausea, and she is tired. I took the car out to see things myself, but blockades and people everywhere made it hard. We will move our bodies to Madrid in the morning, but still rest up for one final tour in Barcelona on Thursday. Prayers please.
