Doubling down for today's WOTD post for #nationalwomensmonth with two of my all time favorites @debnix1 and @kristyr whom I know from my Nashville days.

Aside from both being smart, huge hearted, terribly funny and caring women, Deb spent years teaching at a school that worked with immigrant children with numerous challenges. The type of job that one chooses solely because you care about others.

Kris has done more through her Buddhism practice to help those grieving than anyone I know. She is always putting others ahead of herself. Her practice inspires me to be a better person in all things.

Both women embody compassion in action, speaking up for those with no voice, and helping them find it once again. Rock solid humans, all day long.
