I been through a lot but it’s about overcoming! It was times I was down and didn’t know how I’d shake back. Life is about overcoming.. stay real, stay passionate, keep God present during good times and tough times. Also, don’t try to be perfect — allow yourself to make mistakes, rub people the wrong way, lose money, etc. because that’s human — over time, make better decisions & grow from that 💯

So appreciative of college, the connections I’ve made & the experiences I’ve had. Senior szn underway 💪🏼

Don’t run anyone else race but yours. I have quit attending school on 3 separate occasions just feeling like the people don’t understand me or I’m simply making enough money without it.. no need for it.

I have experienced the best moments in my life and my worst moments in life in college.. don’t allow the discomfort of the lows run you away from your mission. It’s a reason we are where we are in the moment. Often times God will put certain people in your life, also allow situations both good and bad to unfold to teach you perseverance, to navigate through hardship, to have faith, etc. We must get through it & with God we can do anything.

Give yourself grace. I’ve had people speak the worst of me behind my back and even to me directly (through text) which threw me off but people have come for me and the brands that I have created throughout the last couple years. I’ve let that affect me at times, spend money without a care in the world but I never gave up on what I know and what I’m passionate about.. I’m pleased to say this past year I have had THE MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR yet, hosting just over 25,000 students throughout 15 events & I just want to say thank you all for allowing me to be the event curator I am today 🫶

Thank you to University of Houston and my friends there for showing me I can do this partying on another level and establishing Dj Holizae. I attended University of Houston prior to transferring to Prairie View.. I was being too hard on myself. I felt like I had accomplished everything I wanted to do at UH relatively but the people that I met, changed my life and how I conduct business in totality.

To my good friend @joshjones3_ , thank you for relating to me as a transfer student and being similar in age to me. You are one year into picking up a camera & you exemplify what it is to mix a God given talent with passion and I wish # the best for @donpov_ congrats 🎓

As I’m going into my senior year in the fall, my little brother is going into his freshman year at UH.. my people at UH look after my young bull @_demarcuss_
