• Why starting youtubers fail, part 1 of my Honest Reply •

One major subtle reason why starting youtubers fail is due to burn-out from the immerse pressure to hit financial fortune on the platform.

LET ME EXPLAIN👇🏾
Am I saying getting this early is bad?
No, Good for you if you have.

My point is, you have to be able to go a follow period of 3 - 5 years dry, with zero financial rewards, and still be ever fresh and excited every single day about the journey, learning new things, doing new things, falling and getting back up, and mostly evolving growing and networking.

This isn't something everyone is excited about, myself included. But it is what it is. Let's continue

As you begin, don't put yourself under this financial pressure. Focus on your system for growing, learn to make contents first, by making more contents and learning how it resonates with your dream audience. There's no perfect time to start. That's why you didn't start 4 years ago, and now 4 years have passed...

After 3 years on the platform, over 100+ videos, over 1,800 Subsrcibers and years of thumbnail design struggle, I have seen all kinds of emotions in the journey... Trust me

But I wake up every single day, and it feels fresh for me, I'm excited to begin again, this is how I move every single day. I recommend you do same
The journey is truly beautiful

I don't know who needs to hear this, but let me share you one struggle I faced and won

I was tempted to just sell off my channel, and move on.
Yes, the idea crossed my mind.
There was also this day I broke down under the weight of the Emotions, because of the pain of the process.
You put in all that effort in research, filming, editing hoping it will do well and the video goes unseen.
These are very real Emotions and you're best aware of them.

But I refused to sell, same way a mother will refuse to dump her suckling tender under 3 year old child.
I believe I will get there, and I will!

The Emotions are real, very real, so if you're not ready, better find something else or stay where you are, because it is not overnight

Youth represents a golden opportunity to make certain strategic investments that will shape our future and that of those around us. Interestingly, the basic currency for making such investments is time - not money! This is because time is the unit measure of life and how we spend our time is how we spend our life.

Isaiah gave us a Food-for-Thought on this when he said: You there! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have NO MONEY come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk WITHOUT MONEY and WITHOUT COST. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? (Is. 55:1-2)

In my new book, Maximizing Your Youth, I shared some thoughts on what I consider The Most Important Investment you can ever make and you will glean insights on 10 benefits of making this investment with your time.

I was at a retreat last weekend and the speaker asked a very crucial question that got me thinking deeply. He said, "If God were to record the life you are living currently and package it as a guide/manual for the next generation, where will it lead them?"

In essence, we ought to live our days with the consciousness of the impact we are making per time and the legacy we will eventually leave behind when our time is up on this side of eternity.

Perhaps, this was Ezra's disposition when the Scriptures say: For Ezra had firmly resolved to study the Law of the LORD and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel (Ezra 7:10).

In my new book, Maximizing Your Youth, I shared some thoughts to help you make the most of your youthfulness.
