Kickin' It In The Ville with @louisville.railridaz 2026 was nothing less than explosive.
.
DJs Marquis, Techtrix, Chop, Carfox & Bounce took turns testing the strength of our bodies. They owe us all a new set of knees and legs.
.
These guys definitely understood the assignment.
.
Starting with the Thursday Night skate at Lannon Park and culminating at their Sunday Night session, this event weekend was well worth the trip through the Smokey Mountains.
.
Thanks for the opportunity.

For decades, skating has brought people together across our city. It has created friendships, built community, and given generations of Louisvillians a place to express themselves, stay active, and have fun.

The Lannan Park Outdoor Roller Skating Court project is part of the more than $100 million in improvements we’ve made in our parks since I became mayor. It means making sure that every neighborhood has places just like this where families can gather safely, kids can play, and residents can feel proud of their community.

Louisville’s skating community asked for a place to call their own. Together, we made it happen.

Come out tonight from 6–9 p.m. and enjoy our city’s first dedicated outdoor roller-skating spot at Lannan Park!

Bring your skates and let’s roll! 🛼🛼

Shoutout to Vincent, Laneisha Beasley, and so many of the Louisville Rail Ridaz for joining us at today’s grand opening of the city’s first roller-skating court at Lannan Park.

Louisville has a long history and rich culture of roller skating kept alive by people like Vincent. Now, they have a permanent home for roller skating in one of our public parks.

Get your roller skates ready, Louisville!
