Thank you God for my wonderful, beautiful friends. They threw a surprise party for me and it was one of the most special, precious moments. I truly felt seen. They spoiled me so so much, made me feel so loved and even brought me to tears. I thank God that I was able to find my people that not only support me but help me grow into a better, God-fearing, Christian woman. Friends like this remind me that God is answering my prayers daily. Thank you God for my blessings, and thank you for the wonderful 20 years I have experienced, can’t wait to see what else is in store. 🎂🎉🫶

first and foremost: royalum senior, you have my whole heart. watching you this summer has been one of the sweetest honors. i’ve seen you love so selflessly, care so deeply, and pour out everything you had for your campers — day in and day out. you didn’t just show up — you were present. intentional in every conversation, every prayer, every moment of laughter and every tear. you made space for every camper to feel seen, known, and safe. and i’m just... so proud. so unbelievably proud of who you are and how you loved.
your hearts are golden, your faith is steady, and your impact is deeper than you know. i’ll be cheering you on forever.
always in your corner.

the first photo is me pointing to my name in the Royalum legend book from 2016 — a first time camper who had no idea how much this place would mean to her.
this summer, i handed that same book to new campers for them to sign their names too. full circle doesn’t even begin to cover it.

camp has shaped me in more ways than i can count. and this summer, like every summer before, it stretched my heart all over again.

it’s not just the place. it’s the people.
the campers who walk in unsure and leave a little lighter.
the staffers who become family in a matter of days.
the way Jesus meets us in the chaos, the quiet, the laughter, and the mess.

i’ve learned that my job isn’t to fix or save — it’s to love.
to show up.
to speak truth gently and plant seeds faithfully, even when i may never see them bloom.

we are not the sower.
we are just the planters.
and planting is enough.

i love this place with everything in me. i love these kids, these staffers (& those not pictured), this sacred work. and i believe with my whole heart that God is moving — even when we don’t see it. even when we’re tired. even when it’s hard.

Jesus, take it all.
camp, you’ll always have me.

⛓️‍💥FREEDOM⛓️‍💥

John 8:36 |||| “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

This verse is a powerful promise: when Jesus sets you free, you are truly free!!! Not halfway free, Not maybe free, but fully and completely free. Freedom in Christ means you’re no longer held down by shame, fear, or the mistakes of your past. It means you don’t have to try to earn love or prove yourself to the world. You already belong. You’re already chosen. And you’re already loved.

TBT especial 🎒📸
