Maizys first gym time and well…. It went as suspected. 🤪 Trying to grab anything that resembles a fun toy including the attempt on a 10LB medicine ball. Flying over benches like a horse in the arena. Nose going 100 miles per sniffer. Earned herself some tether time on her bed to chill out. The elders are seasoned gym buddies, it will take a little time for Maizy to learn the routine. 🩷 For now, Crazy Tater. 🥔

🩷ADOPTABLE 🩷

Elizabeth was found with her sister dumped on the side of the road in Palmdale heading towards Leona Valley. They were both emaciated and had tested positive for Giardia. They were both quarantined, treated and given first set of vaccines.
Scarlett has found her forever family and now it’s time for Elizabeth to find hers!

Female 4.5months 21lbs
Labrador / Doberman mix
✅ DHPP # 1
✅ Bordetella # 1
✅ Dewormed

Scheduled : # 2 (9/4) and # 3 vaccine sets, microchip and spay (9/22).

✅ Dog friendly
✅ Kid friendly
✅ Crate trained
✅ Learning basic commands

Elizabeth is a bit on the shy side (understandably so), and needs a home that can give her the time to open up and build her confidence. She is extremely sweet and sensitive in nature. Once she opens up, she is playful, loving and even gives out little vocal howls. She is very submissive in nature and would do beautiful in most home situations. She sleeps through the entire night in her crate with no accidents and wakes you up if she needs to go potty and right back to bed.

Shes looking for a home and family to call her own. Could that be you?

If you’re interested in meeting Elizabeth, please reach out for an application or email at hawaiihibiscus@yahoo.com

As some of you have probably noticed… Maizy has likely found her forever home… 😉 She is SO much dog, she’s like a full time job and not many homes can keep up with that. Unless a magical trainer or sports dog home comes along, she’s here and part of the pack with her bestie Belle. 🫶🏼

Hello everyone

My aunt and uncle are in a critical situation with their dog Moose. He was adopted from a local rescue when he was a puppy in 2020 and today he is in critical care. He was taken in to his primary vet to see what was going on as he had an episode of uncontrolled bleeding from his nose, turns out his platelets were at zero. They rushed to stabilize him with plasma infusions and he was taken in last night to Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital for critical care. It is suspected as ITP but trying to confirm and locate the source. They are applying for all the credit and assistance programs they can but may still find themselves in a sticky situation. Please help in any amount to safe his life, Moose is not just a dog, he is family. 😭❤️ PLEASE SHARE !

Donations will be sent ASAP as they come in. I don’t believe the vet takes in direct payments but I will check. Please add “For Moose” In the note

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”
✨This phrase is often attributed to various thinkers and leaders (like Henry Ford or Tony Robbins), and it captures the principle that outcomes only change when inputs or actions change. Another way of putting it: “You can’t expect a different view if you’re always walking the same path.” who else wants to put this on a Post-it note in their bathroom mirror??#Adulting #Change #Effort #Transformation.

🩷ADOPT ME!🩷

Miss Maizy

Sassy, confident and a quick learner! Looking for a bully breed experienced home. I was told she is a french bull dog / pit bull mix. Maizy was born approximately 9/1/24 and was passed around to a few people none of which could keep her. I took her in before she would end up in the wrong hands. She has started her vaccinations, has been dewormed, was spayed and microchip on 11/20/24, and will be ready to go home after recovery!

Taking applications for her perfect home ! She currently is around other dogs big and small and does well with play, but does need patient and gentle dogs who can give proper correction when shes too rough. It’s unknown how she is with cats or children. Working on basic obedience and manners to get her off to a good start. Does well with potty patch in between taking her out for potty breaks. She is a typical puppy so expect all the things that come with puppies.

Rehoming donation, and home check required.

Rescue never rests. Belle is one of Jazzys eleven puppies that she gave birth to October 14, 2014 shortly after we pulled her from Lancaster Animal Care and Control. She was the first of the litter to be adopted out at nine weeks old. After a couple months the family reached out that they may need to rehome due to personal reasons, to which I gave appropriate resources / options and never got a response back. Fast forward to September 11, 2024 I get an email from the Inland Valley Humane Society that Belle was brought in the day prior as stray and they can’t make contact with the primary owners on the microchip. So, days went by no response. I was in contact with the shelter and we arranged pick up for Miss Belle whom was an hour and half away from us. She has a nasty scar on her head , some masses, and a couple nasty puncture wounds on her rear end. She was bathed, cleaned her wounds, given lots of loves, and now time to decompress in quarantine. Will be scheduling a vet check, deworming her and going from there. I don’t know what she went through or how many people she’s been bounced around, but provided everything works out she will be staying here with us as no senior should be going through this. Welcome home Belle. ❤️
