POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Meet Debraca, a familiar and valued presence within Pretty With Purpose, Inc. She returns this year as a Career Day speaker, bringing a wealth of real‑world experience that girls can immediately connect with.

Although she is not a mental health professional, Debraca’s background spans both entrepreneurship and corporate America, giving her a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in today’s workforce. She actively works with individuals to strengthen their professional readiness — from polishing resumes to building confident, effective interviewing skills.

Debraca consistently brings meaningful insight to girls who are considering college or stepping directly into the workforce after high school. Her guidance is practical, encouraging, and rooted in lived experience, making her a powerful voice for young women preparing to take their next steps.

Moms/Dads/Guardians & Mentees, You are invited to join us at this year’s Career Day. Our theme is “Women in Mental Health.”

Career Day brings inspiring women from our themed fields to speak directly to girls about their career journeys, challenges, and successes. Through real stories and practical advice, girls discover new possibilities, build confidence, and see firsthand that their dreams are within reach. It’s a motivating, empowering day designed to spark ambition and purpose in every girl.

The Coffee Table: Rooted & Becoming ☕🌿

On Friday night, a room full of women gathered around coffee, conversation, Scripture, poetry, and reflection. There was no pressure to perform, no rush to move on. Just space to slow down, be present, and connect.

From the moment everyone arrived at The Gathering Table, the atmosphere invited us to exhale. The warmth of the venue, the laughter around the tables, the thoughtful conversations, and the quiet moments of reflection reminded me why I created The Coffee Table in the first place.

A special thank you to @pourwithintentions "Pour Intentions" for serving handcrafted coffee that was every bit as intentional as the evening itself. It was the perfect complement to meaningful dialogue and heartfelt connection.

Together we reflected on Psalm 1, shared poetry, created personalized reflection cards, and discovered once again that some of life's richest conversations happen when we simply make room for them.

To every woman who chose to spend her Friday evening with us, thank you for bringing your stories, your wisdom, your honesty, and your presence. You helped create something that cannot be manufactured, only shared.

This wasn't just an event.

It was a reminder that when we gather with intention, community has a way of rooting us while making space for us to become.

Here's a glimpse into an evening I'll remember for a long time. 🤎

Thank you to the ladies of @naasctampa and @debracarussell for making the 3rd Annual Career Day a success! Information about some interesting and incredible careers was shared. The ladies shared about life and their personal journeys. The common theme was one may go through various stages, have many interests, and change majors several times before discovering the career you were meant to be in.

✨🩷✨💚✨

Be curious. Ask questions. Challenge yourself. Never stop exploring and learning. Never give up on yourself and your dreams.

3rd Annual Career Day Nugget: Nugget: Debraca Russell says, “I’m resilient like classroom carpet! If it doesn’t work out, add a comma, semicolon or exclamation mark and pivot.” No periods, as it is not final until your goal is achieved. Sometimes the steps to get there have to be adjusted, but we pivot and not stop.
