“I wanted more volume at the top…” 😔
So I reached out and thanks to all the kind advice from the #silversisters community,
I got so many great ideas! ✨

The easiest one to try was curls and honestly, I’d been wanting to try it anyway.
So I gave it a go… and just like that volume! 💨
I was actually a little moved.

Thank you so much, #silversisters for all the love and support.
You really inspired me! 💕

What’s your go to volume trick?
Let’s keep sharing our tips I’d love to hear yours too! 💬

With lots of love

The underlying truth about going grey is that I'm rediscovering myself all over again or perhaps I'm uncovering my authentic self. A strong woman embracing change, shedding the skin that no longer fits. I'm optimistic about my future feeling rooted in my own identity. It's not a matter of if I'll rise, but the promise of my own potential.

This grey hair journey has taught me that self confidence comes with maturity. It’s having inner peace with oneself; a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities. Acceptance of each strand of silver hair as wisdom, every line of wrinkle represents the emotions of felt, and every scar for the battles I’ve won throughout the years. It’s not about being better than anyone else but with oneself.

I’m in my self-love era. What era are you in?

Empowered women uplift others, sparking a chain reaction of inspiration and motivation. When we stand together, we become an unstoppable force.

🤍 This photo was taken in 2021 the year I turned 50. It was my first attempt to go grey. I had my hair grey blended because I was insecure and in denial. Fast forward to 2024, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of positive and supportive silver sisters; a community filled with unapologetic women embracing aging GREYsfully.

I’m grateful for these incredibly beautiful women and the amazing community of silver sisters who’ve positively impacted my journey.

Happy International Women’s Day!!

Ricordo di un’alba di inizio gennaio: silenzio assordante, natura che comanda, aria pungente…
