For my last wedding of 2022, on NYE I had the pleasure to DJ/MC Mandi 🇿🇼& Debbie’s 🇳🇬 Zimbabwean-Nigerian Wedding. The wedding was held at La Mariposa Report in East Tucson which hosted over 100 of Mandi & Debbie’s closest friends and family from around the world.

We started the evening off with an Unplugged Ceremony on-site. Our Officiant, Weddings by Courtney, did an excellent job in creating the perfect ceremony for Mandi & Debbie. The ceremony was topped off with a beautiful sparkler exit and kiss, which TS Cinema Wedding Films caught for cinematic memories.

We then moved to the patio for the Afro-beat themed social hour. The Tucson sunset made for the perfect backdrop. 🌅 Once social hour was over, I transitioned everyone inside to ballroom where the grand entrance, dinner, speeches and dancing/festivities took place.

As the New Year arrived, we did a sparkler exit on the patio with TS Cinema, our videographer/photographer, leading the group. I can’t wait to see how the official photos and video turns out!

This was my 2nd consecutive NYE wedding. Both were EPIC and UNFORGETTABLE. Thank you Mandi & Debbie @debzbad for trusting my judgment and service to you in making your NYE and every other NYE more special. 🫡

Hi here’s my work day in 1 minute🤣 this was so much fun to record & put together!!!

Nowadays I usually take between 3-4 clients a day (sometimes only 2 if one’s a full set). I used to do 5+ a day when I was first starting out, but that’s before I understood having ✨boundaries✨ lol. (I literally didn’t even have set hours, just took clients whenever they wanted haha). But honestly it’s so important to prioritize taking care of our bodies so that we can be here for not only a good time, but a LONG time too!🤩

Love me a before and after😍✨
Used 2 different curls to achieve this look- D curl on the bottom layer & DD curl for the spikes! I don’t use DD curl very often but my client is a dentist and has to wear loupes for work, so she needs lashes that are curly enough not to touch the glasses🤓
