Exciting things are in the works for Kentucky DECA!!!
We had a great call with DECA’s Central Region Vice President and High School Division President to discuss new ideas and what could be ahead for our members this year. We may even have a special announcement coming later this week, so keep an eye on our page! 🧭

ICDC RECAP 🥳🥳🥳

WOW, ICDC was such an amazing experience! Meeting new people from across the globe was truly one of the highlights of my DECA journey. From connecting with competitors to bonding with other members and leaders, every moment was unforgettable.

One of the best parts of the conference was watching members from my chapter and friends from across Kentucky compete and finalize. Seeing everyone’s hard work and dedication on display made me so proud to represent Kentucky DECA alongside such talented individuals.

I also had the incredible opportunity to attend Empower and connect with Association Officers from around the world. Being able to collaborate, and build new friendships with other leaders was such a rewarding experience and definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip.

Most importantly, I loved getting to bond with the new Kentucky State Officer Team. I already know this team is going to accomplish amazing things, and I’m so grateful to serve alongside such passionate and driven leaders.

Kentucky DECA continues to grow, and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for our chapters and members! 💙💛

BETTER LATE THAN NEVERRRR!! 🏙️✨

ICDC 2026, you were nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY! From getting to see competitors from across the globe grinding for glass, to reconnecting with the most special friendships, being able to come together in this way (IN THIS CITY!) has been an absolute dream.

Reflecting back on this lifechanging DECA year, and seeing this transformative period with the incredible new teams, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude. 🥹

Gratitude for the PHENOMENAL 2025/26 Exec Team, as this group was truly one of one. Your energetic, passionate leadership has forever made a mark on me, and getting to build bonds with each of you is something i will FOREVER cherish.

For the 2026/27 KY DECA State Officer Team, as you guys are like my built-in best friends, and I’m so inspired by the work you have already accomplished in your term so far. Kentucky DECA is such a special association, and being able to represent this amazing community alongside such amazing people is a gift.

For all of the beautiful friendships I’ve made over this past year, as they are truly what I believe to be the heart of it all. From late night face-times and sweet treat runs, to taking ALL the pictures and going to ALLLL of the DECA nights, being able to grow alongside you has been absolutely everything to me. 💙

KENTUCKY DECA SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT AT ICDC THIS YEAR, and I cannot wait to see how this new year unfolds for our association, each new team, our members moving onto their next chapters, and this beautiful organization as a whole. DECA continues to reinvent the meaning of true growth and community, and I cannot wait for this spirit to carry on FARRRRR beyond ICDC!! 🙌🏼

That’s a wrap on ICDC 2026!! This truly was the best one yet, and I’m not just saying that. The amount of amazing people I got to meet is incredible and I cannot wait to work with the new executive officer team. To the 2025/2026 execs, you were so amazing and so deca-cated to your roles, I am going to miss you all so much. To all of this years association officers and executive officers, I already met many of you at ICDC and know that this year is going to be absolutely INCREDIBLE.

PS: I tried to tag everyone but I couldn’t find some accounts so I am SO SO SO sorry if I didn’t tag you!!!!
