POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

15 years ago today, around 2:30pm, i was home alone when my at the time partner’s dog unexpectedly started delivering babies. number 2 to arrive was my Panda Girl.

for a short time in this world, it was just me, sobbing, staring at this little creature wrapped in a brown bathroom towel, helping her acclimate to the world around us. it was insane. i had absolutely NO idea what i was doing, but i remained calm and was determined to make sure they all survived. i instantly fell in love.

raising the 4 of them was my favorite. coming home to them bopping around my feet every day, bottle-feeding when their mama had enough and watching their very different personalities shine was a journey i’ll never forget. 15 years later, she’s still the same puppy i met that day.

happy birthday, sweet girl 🧡🧁

her siblings: theo, khloe, simon (and panda) 🧡

she was the only one left that we hadn’t decided on home for yet (spoiler alert: it was me 😂), so she didn’t have a name. i accidentally used the flash when i took this photo and because of her face shape, i kept calling her “my little panda bear”. of course, the name stuck 🧡

“go birds”, she whispers in the quietest voice possible, as she’s still heartbroken after last week’s game 😪

but at least we were there for one of the absolute wildest moments ever this season (jordan davis’s block and touchdown) 🦅💚

happiest birthday to our Kangaroo! this wild pup came bouncing into our lives (literally, hence the name) and we really couldn’t imagine our family without her. Kanga is a forever puppy, never slowing down and always keeping us on our toes. our baby 11 year old 🧡 (please enjoy “her song” - when we play it, she jumps around the house, like the 🦘 she is) 🧡🧁1️⃣1️⃣
