One last won for @patchshortfilm before we wrap things up and try to figure out next steps. Thank you to the @sunscreenffstpete film festival to being so supportive and helping to end the year of film festival runs out in a solid note. Thank you to everyone who believed in this production from the beginning, and thank you to all of the #filmfestivals that supported this ambitious indie sci-fi movie about robots, the 90s, small-town politics, and the concept of death. We could not be happier and more proud of the work and humans we were able to collaborate with on this, and hope to see more of Patch and the story in the future.

For now, we wait, but until then, thank you, thank you, thank you.

@patchshortfilm is still going into 2021 with a new film festival. We just received information that our short film is a finalist at @thejellyfest this year, and we’re excited to see where it goes. It’s been a phenomenal year of celebration for our short sci-fi film and as we come closer to the short’s festival run, I can’t help but be humbled and reminded of everyone who helped in this project and supported us throughout the years in this. Thank you all so much. We hope more for this story that we look to expand upon into the future, and if that comes to fruition, I’ll be sure to let you all know. Thank you, thank you, thank you all.

This weekend, @patchshortfilm will be screening with the @anomalyfilmfest in New York, and I’ve gotta say, this one is gonna be special. It’s a genre-driven film festival in Rochester New York, and a bunch of really talented filmmakers that I know personally will also be making their way there.

We’ll be premiering in the “Featured Creatures” shorts block, so if you’re in New York, love indie genre films, and wanna support us and others, get your tickets online and check us out.

Can’t wait to watch from home here. The fest goes from Nov. 12th-15th. Would love to have you there!

The Sunscreen Film Festival is in 6 DAYS!!! It will be taking place on October 22 at the Gardena Cinema! Check out the link in our bio for more information about this years festival!

Patch, created by Jaime Parslow and @decentralizedfilms is an amazing film that we are excited to play at this year’s festival!

@patchshortfilm

Joel, living in a revisionist historical telling of the 1990s - and after the purging of all robots with Artificial Intelligence - builds himself a friend in his trailer park closet, illegally and without his step-father, Clint, knowing. A pal to a boy stripped of meaningful relationships, whom he appropriately names, Patch. A short film about friendship, growing up, and coping with the inevitability of death, this grounded science-fiction film plants its feet firmly in a world where technology takes a back seat to every day drama, and the want for more in a town with no way out.

So today through October 18th, @patchshortfilm is screening digitally at the @portlandfilm festival and dude, this one is such an honor to be apart of, and if you’ve got the time, we can set up a viewing party and chat via the festival’s website.

Let me know. Otherwise, it’s just an honor to be here, and we hope the new audience enjoys!
