Stage 4 from Spirit of Bulgaria is dedicated to the one and only Valya Balkanska and her legendary performance of “Izlel e Delyo Haidutin”, which was selected to be included on the Golden Record aboard the Voyager spacecraft, carrying a piece of Bulgarian heritage beyond our Solar System.

A voice from the Rhodope Mountains, carrying the spirit of Bulgaria into the unknown.

This stage is a tribute to our roots, our traditions and the timeless power of Bulgarian folklore.

Spirit of Bulgaria. More than a match. A celebration of our heritage.

24 shots, 11 paper and 1 metal popper and 1 metal plate

Thanks to @manuil.nikolov for the awesome stage designs and @aimsportclub for the great organisation of this fantastic match!

Stage 5, “Off Beat Reload”, from the Spirit of Bulgaria match was a tricky stage inspired by one of Bulgaria’s most iconic traditions: HORO traditional group dance.

This stage brought that spirit into the match, combining rhythm, movement and precision in a challenge that was anything but predictable.

Spirit of Bulgaria. More than a match. A celebration of our heritage.

21 shots, 9 paper and 3 metal plates all shot moving on a plank as the shooting area!

Thanks to @manuil.nikolov for the awesome stage designs and @aimsportclub for the great organisation of this fantastic match!

Final piece to upgrade my comms setup from regular cheap all-in-one to Falconclaw 🤙🤙 PTT with Sepura STP Series 4-pin cable and NATO TP-120 clear tube earpiece modded with Decibullz+Awareness moldable earplug.

This should guarantee a very tight fit in ear and some additional outside noise reaching my tube ear. This should also work well under any earpro, even without comms connectivity. That way I can remain in contact with toc without needing to switch my cables around.

This was fun way to start this past weekend. I abandoned my strategy of don’t miss and got to practice my box step overs.

What a weekend!! Proud is an absolute understatement. The amount of work, training, and dedication you put into things you set your mind to will never cease to amaze me. I can’t wait to see how far you go. Nationals, here we come!!
