At just 19 months old, Caleb rang the bell to celebrate the end of treatment after being diagnosed with Wilms tumor in April 2026! 🔔

More than 250 supporters gathered for Dec My Room’s 9th Annual Kick Up Your Boots for Kids, raising a record-breaking $415,000! ✨🤠

Chaired by mother-daughter duo Anne and Elizabeth Carl with country star Easton Corbin, exciting auctions and a special moment as founder Susan Plank passed the hat to Kendall Plank as the organization’s new leader.

500 room makeovers, countless smiles! 🎉💙💛

Our Child Life team and @decmyroom teamed up to celebrate a special milestone: the 500th Dec My Room at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital!

To mark the occasion, volunteers transformed two patient rooms, the playroom and the family room on the sixth floor of the Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower, bringing color, personality and a little extra joy to spaces where patients and families spend so much of their time. For children facing an extended hospital stay, these thoughtful touches can help make an unfamiliar environment feel a little more like home. And it takes a special team to make that happen! 🧸

A heartfelt thank you to our Child Life team and Dec My Room volunteers for working together to create spaces filled with comfort, connection and smiles.😀

It’s October, and it’s time to pull out the cowboy hats and boots! 🤠

We kicked up our heels for a wonderful cause at Dec My Room’s Kick Up Your Boots for Kids, celebrating honorees Stacey and Al Lindseth and their incredible commitment to making a difference. Dec My Room transforms hospital rooms into personalized, comforting spaces for children and young adults facing extended hospital stays of three weeks or longer. A little joy, familiarity and a sense of home can mean so much during a difficult time.

And while the boots were out, I was thrilled to stop by Hotel Granduca for a little Vail favorite right here in Houston! Kemo Sabe was celebrating its custom boot collection, bringing a little Western luxury to Texas.

Yesterday was a big day that ended with being able to support Dec My Room @decmyroom and see Al and Stacey Lindseth @aalsadd honored for all they’ve done for this wonderful charity. Extra impressed with Kendall @kendallplank getting up there on the stage in her bedazzled crutches after just having to have surgery on her leg!

What a special moment for Anahi! 🔔💙

At 7 years old, Anahi has been navigating her journey with neurofibromatosis since her diagnosis in 2019. After years of appointments and treatment, Anahi rang the bell while surrounded by her family, classmates, and care team (and feeling the support from her puppies back at home!) 🐶

Celebrating our friend Oliver, who recently rang the bell to officially mark the end of chemo treatment! 🔔👏

At just 6 years old, Oliver has been on a big journey since he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in May 2024.

We had a blast celebrating with a Minecraft-themed party, as he was surrounded by the people who have been cheering him on along the way.

It’s Zayn’s first birthday and it was a wild one! 🦁🎉

Dec My Room and the heart transplant and heart failure team at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital came together to make him feel special. Zayn has been in the hospital for 7 months as he is waiting for a heart transplant. ❤️

There was even a birthday “smash” cake as part of the celebration.
