Excuse us while we light our own candles, but we are turning ONE YEAR OLD this month 😌🥂and to celebrate, were throwing ourselves a sick ass party because we LOVE ATTENTION!!! We’ve got a free make-your-own-bouquet station, @noprefcoffee slinging S/O pour-overs, and the one and only JP Hawthorne reading y’alls cards & stars 🌟- not to mention we’ll have TWO amazing artists fom @betterfriendstattoo offering flash in the back room and three of Portland’s hottest DJ’s keeping the vibe going all afternoon. You’re not gonna want to miss this one.. 😚

Meet the Artist: Emily!

“hi hello i’m emily!! (she/they) i’m a newbie tattoo artist & senior pet owner (that’s my mini weenie, hansel). i also work as a graphic designer which helps inform the style of my tattoos, gravitating toward forms that strike some balance between simple and bold.

if you’re coming to get tatted i wanna hear all about your pets (photos encouraged), what you’re reading lately (i love surrealist fiction and body horror), and if you’ve got any leads for freaky friday-ing with my dog!!”

Excited to officially announce the opening of Better Friends Tattoo Collective!!

We have spent the last few months putting together this new cozy shop in SE Portland with @haunted.heirloom @butterknife.tattoo @siltyloamtattoo @decomposing.archive and @slumprat_tattoos (who will be starting with us in January!)

A few of you have already had the chance to visit but we will be having some opening events in the next couple months and are super excited to see you all in this new space! Give us a follow for shop updates!
