For over a decade, Minnesota wakeboarders had nowhere close to home to compete.

On August 22, that changed for 27 riders across four divisions. The first wakeboard competition this state has seen in 10+ years.

Some of those riders were at wake camp or in Bible study with us this summer. At Long Lake Regional Park, they got to showcase their skills in their own backyard.

That happened because 10 volunteers drove the boat, shuttled riders, judged, MC'd, and stayed until the last trailer was loaded. And because sponsors and donors decided a day like this was worth funding.

This is just the start. We're already building a bigger one for next year.

Thank you for keeping this sport alive in Minnesota.

skating in a village? 🤨

we visited @jafutafoundation which is a center of hope for the local villages surrounding victoria falls, zimbabwe! 🇿🇼

this is where we started our very first skate in zim, but they do a lot more than just skating! 💪

fun fact: our founder @robbykimmel actually did a 4 month sewing course with the local village woman, and now he is a certified fashion designer! 😎
