NGL been going through it lately and today was a harsh day on me...to the point of not wanting to leave the house. It's just...dealing with a lot at the same time.

I am happy I went to the gym though, it really is like therapy: the best way to get rid of pent-up energy, thoughts, or even bottled up emotional tension, I guess.

The (life long) daily lack of sleep is killing me! I always feel exhausted and lethargic. Today I was feeling extra tired -if that's even a thing - so I was unsure how much of a workout I'd be able to get in. I had set my expectation low and I had already decided to take it easy before I even arrived at the gym.

I did surprise myself at the end, once I saw the score on my fitness related apps. I DID train pretty intense after all: slower pace, but definitely much higher volume. All in all, I feel much better (as seen in the second selfie). I feel much lighter post-workout and truly hope to sleep much earlier (and longer) tonight...but again, my hopes are not too high. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Up to a new day - a fresh and hopefully better day. I still thank God for each day of course and praise Him. Yes, even through the pain. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 💜♱
