***SERVICE WITH A SMILE*** The holiday season ALWAYS becomes a reality when my beloved @jackandjillbergenpassaic Chapter Associate Jewels 💎 do our Thanksgiving 🍁 community service project for @neveraloneagainresource Center for Domestic Violence & Abuse. @theresagift is a true SHERO, and works tirelessly to protect, and serve, those in need. We love supporting her efforts, along with our fellow Bergen County, New Jersey residents who care, and show up. #TisTheSeasonToGive #ILoveMyJJBPSisters #LongLiveJackAndJill 🩷💙

***FATHER’S DAY 2024*** I hope everyone had a great day, celebrating the special men in their life. We enjoyed brunch at @mkvalenciarestaurant then headed to @amctheatres Starplex Ridgefield Park 12 to see #BadBoys. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and our patriarch Robert Tate @unlimitedcontact and our Godfather, #UncleRonnie, enjoyed every minute of it!!! 🖤🍿🎥🍾

#ComeWithMe to the M&M store in #TimesSquare!

Mya and I decided on a whim to surprise our friend @dedratate for her birthday. After checking in to our hotel and enjoying a long breakfast (thanks, @timessquareedition!), we headed to the M&M store to customize a yummy gift.

The custom candy maker allows you to add text, emojis, or even a fun inside joke. We added one of Dedra's catchphrases ❤️. There used to be an option (I think) to add a face photo, but it wasn't available for us when we went.

All in all, fun times, and we made a few for ourselves, cuz ...snacks.

***IT’S A MV THROWBACK*** Awwwwww, what sweet memories. This photo was taken in 2011, when our independent film #LifeLoveSoul premiered at the Run&Shoot Filmworks Martha's Vineyard African-American Film Festival. It was extra special because we were on vacation anyway, so #LLS being selected for #MVAAFF was a bonus, especially since it stars my nephew @rtatebrickle It was definitely a family affair, and we were able to share it with our “then,” first time writer/director/ producer, @noel.calloway.films his beautiful wife Letitia Calloway (they just celebrated their anniversary on Tuesday) and their baby girl Kellyn. #TBT #MVLife #TheInkwell #OakBluffs #IMissTheVineyard #COVIDBeGone 🖤🎥😷

***TODAY’S FORECAST...SMOOTH SAILING*** What a FAB-U-LOUS afternoon sailing down the Hudson to @libertylandingmarina on #TheRoseOfSharon. My Lil Big Sis Jeanine & I had 7 hours of non-stop fun, thanks to our hosts, Lloyd Williams -aka- #TheCaptain and my girl/Link sister Sharon Banks-Williams. What a way to wind down the summer! 💚⛵️
