👓 first year of uni officially completed 🕶️

We have made these portraits in the hallway next to a class during the final day’s sessions. I love the people. Extra love goes to @bethancowdery and @ccy_marcus , we gonna miss you!

I think, I am finally starting to understand how the artificial light works and what is the value of a good portrait. Respect to @_d.wiafe & co for photography and life lessons.
When I thought I knew so much already, the course opened the doors to a new, unexplored world of art within the industry.

Thank you everyone, have a great summer & c you soon 😌

South London has been known for churning out lyrical talents over the years, with everyone from Stormzy and Dave to Ms. Banks and K-Trap putting on for the ends. One rising rhymer who plans to join that list one day, is a 15-year-old rapper/MC by the name of RB (@rb.yic) 📈🎯

Co-signed by the likes of Scorcher (whom he is currently being compared to, as well as early Chipmunk), RB has been shutting down grime sets recently, while on the flipside, his rap freestyles will have you in amazement when you’re reminded of his age. “It feels great,” he tells TRENCH of the buzz around his name of late. “It’s like all the work we’ve been putting in is starting to pay off.” RB says that he “grew up on grime” and “never really rated drill,” although he can spin that when he’s ready, too. He also counts Kendrick Lamar as an inspiration.

Turning up to @djagonline’s livestream in Kings Cross earlier this week, alongside @onlyscorch, RB’s freestyle quickly went viral for the fact that he was in his school uniform and wasn’t shy in letting the world know that ‘this grime shit never died,’ proving that the genre is alive and well among younger listeners. “I feel like I can definitely make a career from music,” RB adds, “but I still plan on going to uni.”

His hope is to “see a return of real music—not no watered-down, label-controlled stuff—and I hope to bring all the guys with me.”

RB… Remember the name! 😎
